The Seiritsu High School Karate Club had our final practice (osame geiko 納め稽古) this week. We ended with 1000 punches and 1000 kicks! This has become a yearly tradition. We stand in a big circle and each person counts out 10 reps. If someone makes a mistake with the count, their penalty is 10 push-ups!
Afterward we went to an all-you-can-eat restaurant, which everyone enjoyed and the muscle aches quickly disappeared.成立学園の空手道部は、今週、納め稽古を行い、最後は千本突きと千本蹴りで締めました。これは毎年行う伝統になっています。みんなで大きい円を作り、一人一人が順番に１０を数えます。だれかが数を間違えると、ペナルティーとして全員で腕立て伏せ１０回！
